The Mitsubishi Delica Spacegear is an imported vehicle that was available in Australia from 1997 to 2000. Products available for the Mitsubishi Space Gear include insect screening solutions, solar screening solutions and a rear annexe.
1.0 Insect Screens for Window Openings:
The Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen attaches internally to the window frame. The Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen rolls up for storage in a tube or can be stored flat under the mattress.
Flexible Magnetic Insect Screens are available for the following window openings:
1.1 Passenger Door Window (Front Left). For internal installation.
1.2 Drivers Door Window (Front Right). For internal installation.
2.0 Insect Screen for the Sliding Door Opening:
A Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen for the Sliding Door Opening (nominally 103cm wide x 126 cm high) is comprised of mating mesh panels secured internally at the head of the door opening in a track. A track system provides the seal down each side of the opening and a magnet fastener provides the seal between the mating mesh panels. The bottom seal is also provided by a flexible magnetic fastener.
Entry into and exit out of your vehicle is simply a matter of moving through the overlapping mesh panels. The product is robust and provides an effective barrier against insect entry.
The Sliding Door Opening Insect Screen can be removed in around 10 to 15 seconds and is just as easy to reinstall. When the sliding door insect screen is not required it can be easily removed for storage using the (6.0) optional storage hanger.

The Tailgate Opening Insect Screen is available in kit form with two sealing options (magnets or zippers) as described below:
Three options are available to screen the tailgate opening:
3.1 The Tailgate Insect Screen Assembly is a non magnetic insect screening product that is held in place by an elastic fastening device and provides a 100% seal against insect pest entry to the tailgate opening. the tailgate is nominally 130cm wide x 131cm high for the high roof version or 130cm wide x 121cm high for the low roof version. This product is an insect screen only and whilst accommodating access to storage areas and cabinets normally accessed via the tailgate opening does not provide for occupant access except in an emergency.
3.2 The Magnetic Tailgate Insect Screen is comprised of three mating mesh panels that are held in an internally fitted track at the top of the rear opening. A magnetic fastener seals the centre panel against the two outer panels for the full depth of the opening. The vertical perimeter seals are provided by a track system. When insects are not an issue the centre panel can be rolled up and tied at the top of the door opening.
3.3 The Zippered Tailgate Insect Screen is comprised of three mesh panels that are held in an internally fitted track at the top of the rear opening. A zipper fastens the centre panel against the two outer panels for the full depth of the opening. The vertical perimeter seals are provided by a track system. When insects are not an issue the centre panel can be rolled up and tied at the top of the door opening.
4.0 Sun Shields for Thermal Protection & Privacy:
Top Gear 2 Go Sun Shields are constructed from 12 layers of materials for ultimate thermal, acoustic and light performance; compliance and durability performance. The 99% Pure Aluminium on both sides of the sun shield reflect 95% of the radiant heat back into the atmosphere. A protective coating on the exterior facing aluminium foil provides oxidisation and corrosion protection. A heat laminated air bubble core provides an exceptional barrier against conductive heat, humidity, water and vapour penetration.
A Top Gear 2 Go Sun Shield Cabin Set is comprised of a two part windscreen sun shield and a sun shield for the passengers and drivers door window. The windscreen sun shields are made in two sections with a 100mm overlap in the middle. Each section has a vertical alloy stiffening rib built into the sun shield to prevent the sun shield from collapsing in extremely hot temperatures.
The reason that the windscreen sun shield is comprised of two sections is for ease of installation; particularly when electronic dashboard accessories such as GPS navigators, reversing camera screens and mobile phone holders obstruct access to the windscreen. The windscreen sun shields are installed and held into position by deploying the vehicles sun visors.
The Sun Shields for the passenger and driver door windows are custom made to the shape of the door window and are held into position by a magnetic means of attachment.

5.0 Rear Annexe for Mitsubishi L400
Top Gear 2 Go presents a Rear Annexe for the Mitsubishi L400 Delica that is throw over type van tent for the rear opening of campervans that have an awning style rear door that is hinged at the top.
The rear annexe provides an extension to the vehicles interior that facilitates multiple use as a *Storage Room, *Privacy Room, *Changing Room, *Shower Room, *Room for a Portable Toilet, *Kitchen, *Undercover Sleeping Area, and for those who travel with pets - a pet enclosure.
Similar products available in the marketplace are made from heavyweight canvas that is difficult for even 2 people to install and is very bulky when packed down. By comparison the roof and wall components of the Top Gear 2 Go rear annexe is manufactured from a lightweight *Rip Stop *Polyester Fabric. The product is easily installed by one person and it packs down to a very manageable size for storage.
The unique method of attaching the roof and walls that fit over the vehicle body is provided by a magnetic means of attachment. The magnetic means of attachment eliminates the need to drill holes and attach hooks in the roof skin of the vehicle and also facilitates in the installation of the structure.
When the leading edge of the annexe structure is magnetically attached to the roof and sides of the vehicle and the rear door of the vehicle is opened the annexe structure takes its shape and forms the room. The base perimeter of the structure is then fixed to the ground with tent pegs.

5.1 The Standard Rear Annexe is comprised of the roof and three wall components that forms the main structure. One zippered window with an insect screen is incorporated into the rear wall and a zippered door is incorporated into the left side wall.

5.3 Full length zippered insect screen for the left side zippered door.
5.4 Flooring system that includes a vertical wall that seals from the rear bumper to the floor. The floor can be ordered separately at a later date.
About Rip Stop Fabrics:
Rip stop fabrics are woven fabrics using a reinforcing technique that makes the fabric resistant to tearing and ripping. The thick reinforcing threads are interwoven at intervals in a cross hatch pattern into the lightweight fabric thus producing a three dimensional structure.
