The first generation Mercedes Sprinters (1998-2006) were available in a high roof version and a low roof version.
The high roof version was most popular for motorhome conversion and a number of ex ambulance Mercedes Sprinters (low roof version) have been very successfully converted into Recreational Vehicles.

Insect Screens for Window Openings:
The Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen attaches to the ferrous metal body panels that surround the window frames. Internally fitted screens are available for some windows.
The Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen rolls up for storage in a tube or can be stored flat.
Insect Screen for Sliding Door Opening:
The sliding door opening on the high roof version is the same size as the door opening on the low roof version, viz.: 112cm wide x 167cm high.
A Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen for the Sliding Door Opening is comprised of overlapping mesh panels secured internally at the head of the door opening in a track. Flexible magnet provides the seal down each side of the opening and between the overlapping mesh panels. The bottom seal is also provided by a flexible magnetic fastener.
Entry into and out of your vehicle is simply a matter of moving through the overlapping mesh panels. The product is robust and provides an effective barrier against insect entry.
The sliding door insect screen can be removed in around 10 to 15 seconds and is just as easy to reinstall. When the sliding door insect screen is not required it can be easily removed for storage using the optional storage hanger.
Insect Screen for the Tailgate Opening:
A Flexible Magnetic insect Screen for the Tailgate Opening is available for either the high roof version (tailgate opening: 162cm wide x 186cm high) or the low roof version (tailgate opening: 162cm wide x 162cm high).
A Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen for the Tailgate Opening is comprised of overlapping mesh panels secured internally at the head of the door opening in a track. The seal for the right and left vertical perimeters is also provided by a fixed track.
The seal between the overlapping mesh panels is provided by a two part flexible magnetic fastener that runs the full height of the tailgate opening. The bottom seal is provided in part by hook and loop fastener and in part by a flexible magnetic fastener.
The Tailgate Opening Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen can be easily removed and installed by sliding the screens perimeter into the fixed tracking system.

Sun Shields for Thermal Protection and Privacy:
Sun Shields are available for internal installation to the windscreen only, or optionally, as a cabin set (includes the windscreen and also the passenger and drivers door windows).
