Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen for Sliding Door Openings in Vehicles

The patented Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen for Sliding Door Openings in Vehicles provides an insect screening barrier to swoosh bang door openings in campervans and motorhomes. The Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen  for sliding door openings in Vehicles can also be used to screen the door openings in caravans and boats.

Improved ventilation and easy access into and out of the vehicle opening; without limiting the operation of the vehicle's door, are features of this product.

The Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen for sliding door openings is comprised of two mesh fabric panels that are supported at the head of the vehicle opening by a flush fitting curtain track.

The sealing integrity of the overlapping mesh fabric panels is provided by a flexible magnetic fastener that runs for the full depth of the opening.

The sealing efficiency of the mesh fabric panels over and around the compound perimeter shapes of the vehicle opening is provided by a continuous flexible magnetic fastener that is used in combination with supplementary mechanical fasteners; as required, to assist the sealing integrity of the flexible magnet.

There are no zippers to tediously un-zip and zip-up every time you get in and out of your motorhome or campervan.

Access into and out of the vehicle opening is simply a matter of pushing your way through the curtain panels which then move back into the closed position and are magnetically sealed.

Two mesh options are available for the Magnetic Insect Screening Curtain. Mozzie mesh has an aperture size of 1.0mm x 0.9mm and presents a shade factor of 58%. Midgee mesh has an aperture size of 0.6mm x 0.6mm and presents a shade factor of 64%.

The Magnetic Insect Screening Curtain is a robust product that is not a fixture in the vehicle and can be easily removed for cleaning or storage when not in use.

The Magnetic Insect Screening Curtain does not rattle when driving in your vehicle.

Available in kit form, this product can be easily installed by anyone who can use a drill. Fittings and instructions are supplied.

The price range is generally between $250 to $450 in kit form and is subject to the make and model of vehicle; the size of the door opening; the fixtures and fittings that protrude into the door opening and the mesh option selected. The Magnetic Insect Screening Curtain can be installed by us at our premises on the Gold Coast for an additional $60.
